Starting From Scratch

No website yet? That's the easiest starting point for us to work from. Here's how to do it yourself:

  1. Pick and register a domain name — your lodge's own web address, usually around $10–20 a year through a registrar like Namecheap or GoDaddy. You'll own it outright and be responsible for renewing it each year; your registrar will remind you when that's coming due.
  2. Sign up for hosting. We recommend SiteGround, which we know well and use ourselves — the account will be in your name and you'll pay them directly.
  3. Point your new domain at your hosting and install WordPress there (most hosts, including SiteGround, offer a one-click install).
  4. Install your plugin using the license key from your purchase email.
  5. You're live. From there, the full Manual on your dashboard covers everything else in detail.

Prefer not to do this part yourself? We offer a one-time Website Setup for $150 — we handle steps 1–4 above directly: registering your domain, getting hosting in place, and installing your plugin, so you don't have to touch any of it.
