Moving Your Site

Since you already have a domain name, most of the hard part's done. Here's how to do it yourself:

  1. Check whether your current host supports WordPress. Many do — if yours does, you can stay right where you are and skip ahead to step 3.
  2. If it doesn't (or you're not sure), sign up for hosting that does. We recommend SiteGround, which we know well and use ourselves — the account will be in your name and you'll pay them directly. Then point your domain at it: your registrar's dashboard (GoDaddy, Namecheap, wherever you bought your domain) is where you update the nameservers or DNS — SiteGround's own setup guide walks through this step by step.
  3. Install WordPress, if it isn't already running where your site lives (most hosts, including SiteGround, offer a one-click install).
  4. Install your plugin using the license key from your purchase email.
  5. You're live. From there, the full Manual on your dashboard covers everything else in detail.

Prefer not to do this part yourself? We offer a one-time Website Setup for $150 — we handle steps 1–4 above directly: pointing your domain, getting hosting in place, and installing your plugin, so you don't have to touch any of it.
