A Sample Sponsor Rate Card

These are suggested prices, not our prices. Selling sponsorships is entirely your lodge’s business: you set the rates, you make the sale, you collect the money, and you keep all of it. Nothing in the software prices, invoices or processes a payment — it schedules the ads you enter and displays them.

Use this card as a starting point. Copy it, change the numbers to suit your town and your audience, and hand it to a prospective advertiser.

On an annual term that works out to about $46 a month for premium and about $32 a month for standard — a useful way to put it to a small business.
Placement 3 Months 6 Months 12 Months
Premium Placement $149 $289 $549
Standard Placement $109 $199 $379

What Each Placement Gets

Premium Placement. The ad runs ahead of every standard ad, at the top of the sponsor column, marked with a “Sponsor” badge. Only three premium ads appear on screen at a time, so this is a limited tier by design — worth saying out loud when you sell it. Sell more than three and they take turns in those slots, each one getting the very top of the column.

Standard Placement. The ad runs for the whole term alongside every other active sponsor. Nobody is dropped and nobody is parked at the bottom: the order shuffles forward by itself on a timer you set, so every standard sponsor takes a turn leading its group. With the rotation at two minutes and six sponsors on the books, each of them has led inside a quarter of an hour, over and over, all day.

Both placements are clickable through to the advertiser’s own website, and both appear beside the feed on a computer and between posts on a phone. The rotation speed is yours to set — one, two, three or five minutes — and the column picks up each change on its own without anyone reloading the page.

How Much You Can Sell

Premium is genuinely limited: three on screen at a time. You can sell more than three and let them take turns in those slots, but three is the number that makes the tier worth its price, and there’s a good argument for holding it there and saying so.

Standard has no fixed limit — your feed sets it. The ads run beside your posts on a computer and between them on a phone, so the space available is the amount you actually post. About one active ad for every post in the feed is a comfortable ceiling; past that, on a phone, ads start doubling up between posts, and the Ads screen tells you outright that you have more ads than posts. Better to know that before you sell the space than after.

What You Need From the Advertiser

  • Artwork at 300 × 250 pixels — the standard “Medium Rectangle” size any designer or print shop will recognize. JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP.
  • The web address their ad should link to.
  • The start date and the term they’re buying. The end date takes care of itself, and the ad stops on its own when the term is up.

Making the Case

Use your own numbers here, and only real ones: how many people are in your feed, how often they’re in it, what your community actually looks like. A local advertiser is buying your audience, not a national one, and an honest small number told plainly does better than a big vague claim.

Two things are worth mentioning to a prospect. Their ad reaches an audience that is already predisposed toward them — people who support the lodge tend to support the businesses that support the lodge. And a sponsorship is visible for months, unlike a one-off ad in a program book.

Beyond the Feed

You can also build an “Our Sponsors” page on the public side of your site — you get as many pages of your own as you like — and offer a logo and a link there as part of a package, or sell it separately. That page is one you build and keep up to date yourself; the automatic scheduling and rotation described above belong to the feed column.

One Last Time

These figures are a starting point offered in good faith, not a recommendation or a guarantee of what your space is worth. What you charge, who you sell to, what you promise them and how you handle the money are your lodge’s decisions alone.
