Starting From Scratch
No website yet? That's the easiest starting point for us to work from. Here's how to do it yourself:
- Pick and register a domain name — your lodge's own web address, usually around $10–20 a year through a registrar like Namecheap or GoDaddy. You'll own it outright and be responsible for renewing it each year; your registrar will remind you when that's coming due.
- Sign up for hosting. We recommend SiteGround, which we know well and use ourselves — the account will be in your name and you'll pay them directly.
- Point your new domain at your hosting and install WordPress there (most hosts, including SiteGround, offer a one-click install).
- Install your plugin using the license key from your purchase email.
- You're live. From there, the full Manual on your dashboard covers everything else in detail.
Prefer not to do this part yourself? We offer a one-time Website Setup for $150 — we handle steps 1–4 above directly: registering your domain, getting hosting in place, and installing your plugin, so you don't have to touch any of it.
